The Trouble With Absinthe

This is just a fun little log of Danay inbibing a bit too much absinthe. This took place during the GSS time period, in between events going on in the EN. Danay has always been known to get drunk occasionally, but if she's under emotional pressure it's much more likely to happen. She drank quite a bit during this period of her life. Juspera wasn't exactly the most stable or safest person to be around at that point in time, which helps indicate Danay's general frame of mind in choosing her as a drinking buddy.

The middle part of the log is an example of how roleplaying by yourself can actually be fun sometimes. And also makes more sense for character continuity than just going on to doing something else with other people as if nothing has happened in between.

s>[Yegharren Valley, Narrow Cave]
Massive walls of dark granite meet overhead to form a small passage, shielded from the wind and weather. The walls are patterned with greenish lichen, and clumps of white-capped mushrooms grow in the sparse patches of soil and debris that have collected in the cool darkness of the cave.

[Yegharren Valley, Ravine's Edge]
The level ground of the old riverbed suddenly disappears as the ground falls away to the east amid a jumble of boulders and fallen branches where a rushing waterfall must have once filled the still air with mist countless years ago. A huge formation of piled rocks bounds the northern entrance to the ravine, and the more traversable ground of the forest rises in a shady hillside to the south. High moors rise beyond the deep ravine, their geography shrouded in clouds of darkening mist.

[Yegharren Valley, Riverbed]
Smaller trees have taken root in the shade of the older oaks that bound the ancient riverbed, their leafy branches intertwining in the filtered moonlight. The subtle, rich scent of earth and rotting leaves drifts through the air. A narrow strip of ground leading east through the trees has been obviously trampled, as if many visitors have passed in that direction.

The breathtaking view from the edge of the precipice is nothing short of spectacular.
