Where is the magic?
Where did it go?
Is it gone from the Landing?
Or from Icemule's white snow?
Has it vanished forever?
Is it gone now, for good?
I think I've got the answer,
I'll tell you, I should.
It's not in the titles,
It's not in the fame.
It's not one million levels,
That'd be lame.
Its there and it's ready,
Not making a sound.
Just look around you,
It's sure to be found.
Maybe it's different,
for you, than for me.
But I'm sure that you'll know it
It's not hard to see.
It's the first day you got here,
It's the people that helped.
It's that first rat you slaughtered
And that dank sewer smell.
It's skinning and searching,
And hoping to find
A neat shiny GemStone
It's mine mine mine!
It's getting lost without a map,
It's finding your path.
It's upsetting a noble
And feeling their wrath.
It's then being able
To flex your hard bod
Because now YOU can hold imflass
Now you're a god
It's the elders that taught you,
It's the youngin's you taught.
It's those crazy invasions
Those battles you fought!
It's Bleeds and it's Briars,
It's Miphnik and Musty,
And all those porch dwellers
Man are they crusty.
It's Kelfour's, its Landing,
It's old Thingul Manor.
And burning down Banker's Square
Making a clamor.
It's tales of the present.
It's tales of the past.
It's the adventure I'm on
It wont be the last.
Most important of all
It's the thing that won't break.
It's the memories you cherish,
And the bonds that you make.
And when some have to leave us
And their time is done.
Look fondly upon them
And know they had fun.
The new faces come now,
They come here to see.
Someone has to teach them.
It's you and it's me.
So don't lose your might,
And don't lose your glory.
And don't ever forget
All those interesting stories.
No, the magic isn't gone.
It never will end.
Not so long as I'm in Elanthia
With all of my friends.
